Going bowling for the first time ever tomorrow. Any tips?
I have never been bowling before. I am almost 15 and I have no idea what size ball to get or how to hold it. I’m going with a group of friends, one of which is on the bowling team at our school, so they should be able to help me with the basics. My question is if anyone with bowling experience has any tips to help me with my first time bowling? Thanks

My advice: don’t be embarassed if you don’t do great…My average bowling score for a while was around forty, and although my cousin gave me endless grief about it (that’s just how our relationship works) it was still lots of fun, and since your friends are going with you it should be fun.
My experience is every time I make a gutter ball I celebrate. It makes everybody laugh so hard they forget my score is usually around 40.
