I just joined the bowling team as a freshman, I currently have a 150 average but its not good enough to be one of the "best" on the team. I’m decent at picking up spares, but when it comes to strikes I usually get about 1-3 a game and I would like some where between 4-6.

I don’t have any video or links of me actually bowling, but do you have any tips that you feel help you bowl much better quickly?

I need some good tips on how to bowl. I mean REALLY good tips.
I just had a game and I never sucked so much in my life. I kept getting a score of straight zero’s! Whatever it was, it’s obvious I was doing something wrong.

I am a conventional bowler, but I am taking the summer to improve my game. I just got a brand new Tropical Storm and my proshop guy suggested i try fingertip style. Is there any suggestions that anyone may have for helping be to better myself while using this technique. I started practicing last night and am dead tired. Please help!

STORY: By turning the two-handed bowling technique into a new and improved fluid motion, a team of Bolivian bowlers are taking the world by storm. I just bowled for the first time in five years and, almost redundant to say — I sucked. I got a couple strikes in the beggining of the game, but after that I just got gutters and 1-pin hits.

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong really. I try to throw straight, it goes diagonal into gutters. When I focus a bit, it goes a bit further than before, but only to yet again end in either a gutter or barely hit one pin. When I DIDN’T focus (in the beggining), I got strikes..

Tips please? Preferably from the experienced.

I have been bowling for years, but never got that into it. I decided to get my own gear, so I can be more comfortable and try to improve my game. Any ideas on accessories or things that will help my game to improve?

Besides hooking a ball what else can I do to improve my game. Does any one know what a helicopter strike is?
